Stephanie Mendoza joyfully serves as the Director of Youth Faith Formation, where she is devoted to leading young people into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. She graduated from Ball State University in 2022 with a degree in Telecommunications. During her time there, she encountered the Lord in a profound way through campus ministry and began leading Bible studies, which ignited her passion for evangelization and discipleship. After college, Stephanie responded to the Lord’s call to serve as a missionary with Seton Teaching Fellows in Cincinnati, teaching Theology to 5th, 6th, and 7th grade students. This experience deepened her love for catechesis and youth ministry. She later returned to South Bend to teach 5th grade at Our Lady of Hungary Catholic School, where she discovered a particular joy in ministering to Hispanic youth and sharing the Gospel with them. Stephanie is grateful to be part of the Church’s mission to form young disciples and walk with them in their faith journey. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, singing, and spending time with her friends and family—often over FaceTime.
