  Since the inception of St. Adalbert back in 1910, our Polish ancestors took great pride in

caring for the church property. They taught us that the church is sacred ground because

it is the House of God, and all the property must be cared for with deep respect and

reverence so that it looks beautiful and glorifies God. This is a beautiful lesson that we

want to continue into the present day.

Thanks to Rita Kopczynski and our Notre Dame intern, Benny Ortega, a beautiful

initiative has been born to beautify and care for our St. Adalbert Church property. As

you might have noticed, Olive St. is being paved and the curbs are being redone, and

that is because we asked the city and they granted our request! This has been a

wonderful first step in the project, and we have wonderful momentum moving forward.

The next part of this project is to paint a beautiful mural of our St. Adalbert logo and put

it in our Olive Street St. Adalbert parking lot. This mural will offer a warm welcome to all

our parishioners and guests and add to the beauty of our campus and church. Here is

The cost of completing this mural is $2,000, and we humbly ask for your help. If you are

Registrations for First Communion & Confirmation

Registration has begun for the first year of First Communion and the first year of Confirmation. To enter the first year of Communion: Your children must be entering the first grade or higher this August and attend a public school. To enter the first year of Confirmation: Your children must be entering the seventh grade or higher this August and attend a public school.

Applications are available at the back of St. Adalbert Church and St. Casimir Church, or you can pick one up at the parish office (Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm).

Your children will be officially registered once you return the completed application along with the required documents and payment to the parish office. For any questions, please call the parish office at 574-288-5708.

Registration is now open at St. Adalbert School for the 2026-2027 school year. We have spaces available in our Pre-K and grades 1-8. We invite all of you who have children to consider our school. Or if you know of people looking for a school, please tell them about St. Adalbert. It is a place where faith is first. The day is filled with prayer and learning about the faith. We also have a strong focus on academic excellence and are blessed with very talented teachers who are very dedicated to making our students successful. What is very special about our school is that it is like a family. Teachers and students as well as parents work together to create a very special atmosphere in the school where everyone who walks through the doors is greeted with love.
